(Draft/Under development)
I don’t have much experience with Navi GPU cards yet, I only have 3 and am learning my way around them. I would like to learn more about these cards, but with more expensive GDDR6 memory, higher prices (mainly 6XXX) and programmable ICs, I am holding back from buying more.
RX 5XXX Cards
- HP RX 5500 4Gb GDDR6 – Crashes on driver load, BIOS reflashed using script, cannot work out if it is VRAM related, as the python memory script doesn’t seem reliable.
- Sapphire Pulse 5600 XT (SCRAP – This probably has a shorted core, unfortunately, was trying to sell for scrap, but may end up keeping it)
- Gigabyte RX 5700 XT Gaming OC (SEMI FUNCTIONAL – This one is currently the most functional after a BIOS flash, but has deeper performance issues and is not stable, might be worth checking the VCore phases next)
RX 6XXX Cards
- SAPPHIRE NITRO+ Radeon RX 6700 XT 12GB (drivers load, fine on desktop, artefacts under load)
- Powercolor Fighter RX 6600 XT (Exciting card, apart from fixable looking light PCB scratch and missing cap on data lane, there are shorts from the 12v ext, so we’ll see)
