Summary
- Well, it seems in OK condition, and does power on and load drivers, but seems to crash with load and/or heat
- Resistances
- Vcore – 10.6Ω
- Vmem – 54.8Ω
- 5V – 507.7Ω
- 3.3V – 1.568KΩ
- 12V PCI – 2.8KΩ, PCI-E – MΩ++
- Observations under light testing
- Loads drivers and is semi-functional
- VRM area is hot, whilst the reported temperatures look fine
- The oscilloscope shows all 4 phases as clean
- Eventually crashed to a blue screen
- Next steps
- Check MATS/MODS for good measure, but appears to be VRM related
- Closer inspection of the VRM
- If phase wave forms look OK, then it may be necessary to replace and test parts e.g. MOSFETs (if one seems different)
