Summary
- A bit dusty, but basically in good shape with warranty sticker intact
- Resistances
- VCore – 13.2Ω
- VMem – 47.5Ω (Samsung K4G41325FC-HC03)
- PEX – 352Ω
- 5V – 487.2Ω
- 3.3V – 7.61KΩ
- 12V – 55KΩ (slot, no PCI-E on this card)
- All voltages appeal normal.
- There is a noticeable pause of a few seconds before the card posts. It displays and then crashes on driver load.
Investigating
When a 7-series card wont load drivers there is a high chance of a VRAM related issue, so worth checking early on.
Running MATS reveals a faulty B1 VRAM chip.


I don’t actually have this chip in stock, so will have to either order some or find a donor card.

The replacement was successful. The card tested working and was sold 🙂
