- I really like this card, reported as overheating under load, it’s very dirty, dry paste and degraded thermal pads – let’s hope that’s all! 🙂

- Seems fine after a thorough clean, repaste and new thermal pads
Good refurb and test
I find this card impressive, so wanted to take a few shots!
Testing Notes
- 980 Tis are hot cards in more ways than one – typically 77 deg C and 90 deg C hotspot under full load
- Full load TDP reading at 104% 260 Watts pumping through those 12 VRM phases!
- Idle 29% TDP and 72 Watts, seems to take most through the first 8 pin
- 1440p seems very doable for these cards
