ASUS ROG Strix RX 570 8Gb Gaming OC (Card A)

Summary

  • Resistances
    • VCore – 1Ω
    • VMem – 23.3Ω (Samsung K4G80325FC-HC25)
    • VDCCI – 24Ω
    • Display Rail – 21.8Ω
    • 1.8V – 2.83KΩ
    • 5V – 9.9KΩ
    • 3.3V – 14.6KΩ
    • 12V – 30KΩ+ (Slot), ~6KΩ (8 pin)
  • Error 43 in Device Manager, BIOS looks OK, suspected VRAM
  • In terms of confirming a VRAM issue, there are no vertical bar artefacts, only the Python scripts.
  • I do have a couple of the right kinds of chips in stock, so I could try replacing the last two chips.

Script dmgg.py output seems to suggest an issue in channel D (chips 7 and/or 8)

The direct-mem-test.py script also suggests a VRAM error, but I don’t know how to tell which chip:

I tried running tserver using the rx 470 profile and it thinks that channel B has issues:
